Data-driven casino floor
The self-planning casino floor.
Casino scheduling software for staff and tables. PitAssist forecasts player demand, builds the monthly rota and fair employee schedules that respect your agreements, and runs tonight's break list and roster with every dealer on the right table. Nothing goes live without you — tune the algorithm, adjust the result and approve every decision.
PitAssist Planner — From history to a published schedule.
For your Table Games Director, Gaming Manager or Shift Manager.
- From history to demand. Your floor’s own tables, hours and real players become expected players per game and per slot, day by day for next month.
- From demand to shifts. From that demand: the tables worth opening, and the dealers and inspectors each shift needs.
- From shifts to people. Agreements, skill levels, preferences, days off and approved holidays go in as constraints. The engine places every person while meeting all of them at once.
- From drafts to your call. Open the drafts, compare them, change what you want and approve the one you pick. Nothing publishes before that.
- From your call to every pocket. On publish, every dealer sees their shifts, their days off and their holidays on their phone. Swaps, time off and sick days come back from there into the schedule.
PitAssist Roster — Tonight’s break list, live: who is on which table, right now.
For your Pit Boss, Pencil or Shift Manager.
- One slot, or the whole night. Turn on Auto and the roster keeps updating with live floor data, looking for the solution that makes the most profit while always respecting breaks, your rules and your decisions. Or auto-fill just the slot you care about.
- Which tables open, and when. Plan openings and closings against expected demand, and the roster recalculates with them.
- The floor as it really is. Every table, dealer and inspector on one screen. Open and close from the map.
- Talk to the roster. “Open BJ 4.” “Who’s due a break?” “Send Martha home after the current slot.” It never changes the roster on its own, and every action is logged. Get the most out of PitAssist Roster in natural language.
You stay in control
It's a combinatorial problem, and that's what an optimizer does. You set the rules; PitAssist finds the combination that never shows up on paper. You adjust it and approve it. And what happens tonight goes back into Planner.
Roster
- More hands dealt per slot Every slot, every dealer at the table where they perform best: the combination weighs the number of players, how demanding each table is and each dealer's skill at each game. More hands an hour with the same staff.
- Reacts in real time The roster adapts to the live floor: a table opens, a dealer is missing, demand shifts… the break list is recalculated instantly, including for what nobody had planned.
- Faster, sharper break lists Builds the whole shift's break list in seconds, taking open tables, games and every dealer's skills into account.
- Warnings before they are problems Spots breaks that don't add up, tables left uncovered and hour overruns before they reach the floor.
- Open and close tables on time Which tables to open and which to close in each slot, from the forecast demand, with the staff each one needs.
- What you pin stays put Place a table or a break by hand and the automatic run works around it: yours is never touched when it recalculates.
- Your floor on a live map Who is at which table right now, on the real plan of your floor; open a table or move someone from the map itself.
- AI to talk to your floor Send changes and warnings in plain language: your AI agent makes the changes for you.
- Everyone knows where to go Their next table and their break, always up to date, on any screen or on their phone.
- Every decision, audited Every decision that matters is recorded — who changed what, when and why — and can be reviewed at any time.
- Any shift, rebuilt Replay any shift step by step, minute by minute. Each employee's history comes out of it: games, tables, breaks and punctuality.
- A fairer break list Tables, games and breaks shared evenly across the whole team, with breaks guaranteed. If something stops being met, a warning fires before the slip reaches the floor.
- Gives the pit boss their time back Auto-assignment leaves the pit boss free for what matters: the floor and the game.
Planner
- Meets every labour rule Collective agreements, union rules and legal rest, checked automatically on every schedule before it is published: a combination that breaks one is never proposed.
- A forecast for every day of the year Events, seasons and weekends are already in the demand. You decide with your own history, not blind.
- Schedules that don't break One change no longer forces you to redo everything.
- Cover absences without chaos An unplanned absence: the schedule proposes who covers it — available, qualified and within their hours — without redoing the month.
- Skills and certifications It only assigns whoever is qualified for each game.
- Compare and choose Several versions of the schedule, and what each one would have done on your real data; decide on your own terms.
- Shift swaps between employees With the manager's approval, and the impact visible instantly.
- Holidays booked further ahead And on the best days, for the employee and for the floor. Employees can propose changes, and you see the consequences before approving them.
- Work as a team Several managers on the same schedule, without stepping on each other.
- Published, and on every phone You publish and every employee gets their schedule on their phone at once; swaps and holidays are requested from there too.
- Fairer schedules Weekends, nights and public holidays shared out with judgement, and each employee's preferences taken into account.
- Keep overtime cost in check See what each version, or each change, costs before you approve it.
- Staff who stay Fair schedules on time, swaps and holidays without friction: fewer people leave, fewer dealers to train from scratch.
Frequently asked questions.
Can I take just Planner, or just Roster?
Yes. Each works on its own: Planner publishes the schedule without Roster, and Roster runs on the schedule you already have, wherever you make it. Together the loop closes, but that is not a requirement to start.
Are the schedule and the break list decided by an AI?
No. It comes out of a constraint engine: you set the rules, and the engine finds the combination that meets all of them. The same rules always produce the same result, and you can see the rule behind every name. The copilot is how you talk to it — it carries out what you ask and logs it; it does not decide.
Can I change what it proposes?
Whenever you want. Compare drafts, move whoever you want, approve; nothing publishes until you sign it off. Anything you place by hand is locked, and the engine leaves it alone when it solves again.
Does it respect my agreements?
Yes. Agreements, skill levels, breaks and approved holidays go in as hard constraints: a combination that breaks one is never proposed. They are set once, and changed when the agreement changes.
Does it connect to the gaming system? What data do you keep?
No. It does not connect to the gaming system. We keep staff, shifts and table counts; we keep no player data. Data lives encrypted in Google Cloud, you can export it at any time, and we delete it if you leave.
What do you need to start?
Three things: your headcount, each dealer's skill level, and your agreements. History improves the forecast but is not needed to start. Write to info@pitassist.com to get the integration with your casino and a month free.
